Halloween is Almost Here!
Halloween is by far my favorite holiday! Once August comes around, I start planning my costume.
This year I am being Kelly Kapowski! A character Tiffani-Amber Theissen plays in a show called Saved By the Bell.
Usually I am something really creepy. The last time I was something “nice” per say, was when I was in 1st grade. SIX YEARS AGO! Dangggggggggggggggggggggg.
I’ve got to get 35 bucks for the costume though….. and I’ve got 1,2,10, NO MONEY WHAT SO EVER! Well, Halloween is like 2 months away so I don’t have to worry about anything quite yet.
This holiday originated with the ancient Celtic Festival of Samhain. It’s when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward of ghosts.👻
Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of of fun activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, costumes, and a BUNCH of candy🍭.
I have no idea how Halloween went from a horrific festival of warding of ghosts and demons to a fun day of treats, activities, and not a care in the world!🌎
If those people had God, they wouldn’t have to fear the fall, but they did give us HALLOWEEN🎃💀👽
